Expert advice

The lacquer should be applied once to the paper using a sponge roller with different porosity depending on the planned effect (fine or thick “moire”). In this way, the slightly wavy coating causes a proper refraction of light on the surface of the image, which creates the effect of an painting painted on canvas with paints oil.

Painting should be performed at a temperature of at least 10°C and most preferably at 20±2°C.

Clean painting tools with water.
