EKO-DUR LAKIER is a two-component, water-based epoxy protective and decorative varnish with high resistance to abrasion, mechanical and chemical loads. It is based on modern raw materials that guarantee the highest quality.
painting concrete floors indoors; it forms a colorless glossy coat on the painted substrate that is easy to keep clean
painting a previously painted floor with EKO-DUR FARBA paint or AKSILBET POSADZKA
paint
painting floors exposed to mechanical and chemical loads, i.e. For painting floors in production halls, warehouses, garages, workshops, where pedestrian and vehicular traffic takes place (applies to forklifts with rubber wheels).
Surfaces exposed to abrasion due to continuous movement of the chair in the same place (swivel chairs on plastic wheels) should be protected with a mat designed for this purpose.

The varnish forms a colorless coating.
Properties
For substrates previously painted with EKO-DUR paint, the efficiency is 16-20 m²/kg with a single coat of paint
For other substrates, the efficiency is 8-10 m2/kg with one coat of paint
water-borne, epoxy two-component paint: component A is a suspension of refining agents in resin, the purpose of which is to harden the coating; component B is an epoxy resin solution
the coating is resistant to scratches, abrasion and impacts
The concrete floor to be painted should be seasoned, dry and clean. Permissible moisture content of the substrate 4% - moisture content in most cases obtained after 28 days of concrete seasoning ( at 20C).
Grease and oil stains are best removed by burning or washing with a suitable agent.
Mechanically trowelled concrete and smooth, compact surfaces should first be roughened to ensure good adhesion of the coating. This can be done by mechanical grinding. This improves adhesion and also removes dirt and cement polish.
In the case of old concrete, loosely bonded concrete fragments should be removed and cavities filled. Then it is advantageous to sand the surface.
When painting a concrete floor previously painted or impregnated with unfamiliar products, remove old paint coats, clean the floor of impregnation.
Note: The product is designed for concrete surfaces. Do not apply to the surface obtained from floor screeds intended for tiles, floor coverings.
Preparation of the mixture and application:
Before painting, mix component A thoroughly in the package and then combine with component B (mixing ratio - component A: component B - 16:6 by weight).Mix the product thoroughly and wait at least 5 minutes.
If the product is too thick it can be diluted with water up to 10%.
The life of the product after mixing at 20 2C is 2 hours. .
If the mixture thickens after 1.5-2 hours, you can add another portion of freshly made A+B mixture and mix.
Note: Do not exceed the life times of the mixture!
Apply the so prepared varnish by brush, roller or spray on clean concrete or on previously painted EKO-DUR PAINT. It is best to use velour rollers with short bristles. The varnish can be applied once or twice for a better effect. Apply the second coat after 24 hours. Thickness of application of one layer about 120 μm wet. Complete curing occurs after 7 days at 20 2C and then you can start operation. The time may change with changes in temperature , humidity, ventilation conditions, number of coats.
Wash tools with water, preferably with vinegar.
NOTE: temperature and humidity values can significantly affect the course of drying in the winter months. Please observe the following recommendations:
1. painting work should be carried out at an ambient temperature of not less than 150C, preferably at 20 ± 50C.
2. the product in the package should be brought to an ambient temperature of not less than 150C
3.Permissible air humidity up to 65%. Do not use at high humidity. Air humidity can be checked with a moisture meter, for example, at home weather stations or applications.
4. the temperature of the substrate should be at least 30C higher than the dew point temperature.
Do not allow the difference between the air temperature above the floor and the floor itself to be too high - the temperatures should be similar, because if the floor is significantly cooler than the air above it, moisture will condense from the air on the floor, i.e. on the drying paint or varnish coating, which may cause the coating to turn milky.
Spreading rate: from 1 kg of paint about 16-20 m2 with a single coat.
