Application

PIASKOWIECLUX is designed to strengthen and protect sandstone, e.g. foundations and facades of houses as well as fences and fireplaces. It is also suitable for façade tiles made of concrete including coloured concrete.

Do not use the impregnate on exterior horizontal surfaces.

Impregnate is intended for exterior and interior painting.

Productivity: 3-8 m2 from 1 litre of impregnate at one impregnation - capacity depends on the surface structure and absorbability of the substrate - consumption test is recommended

Expert advice

Surface preparation:

Apply the impregnate to a cleaned and dry surface. Clean surfaces preferably with pressure tools using water and detergent. Remove traces of algae and fungi with agents intended for this purpose, e.g. GRZYBOBÓJCA produced by AKSIL.

Application:

Mix the impregnate thoroughly before use.

Apply one, two or three coats depending on the absorbency of the substrate and the intended end result.

Sandstone, which tends to crumble, should be treated at least twice, and if a light sheen is desired, three layers of impregnate should be applied (the sheen appears only on compact surfaces, it cannot be achieved on very porous ones).

It is recommended to apply each successive layer before the previous one dries, i.e. u0022wet on wetu0022.

It is best to use a low-pressure sprayer to apply the impregnate on large surfaces. It is also possible to apply the impregnate with a roller or a brush.

Use water to wash the painting tools.

Paint work should be carried out in suitable weather conditions (no fog, rain, snow).

Apply the impregnate at a substrate and ambient temperature of 50C to 250C.
