Surfaces to be painted should be sanded and thoroughly cleaned of dust. The substrate should be dry and free from greasy resin stains. The moisture content of the wood should be a maximum of 16%.
WOODEX is applied to clean, bare wood by immersion or with a paint brush, roller or spray equipment. With the immersion method, a single immersion is sufficient to achieve the desired colour and to protect the wood. When using a brush or roller, a double dipping is recommended to achieve complete protection of the wood. The second coat should be applied after the first one has dried out.
Applied in this way, it is the final protective and decorative finish of the wood.
Paint with WOODEX at a temperature of at least 100C, preferably at 200 ± 50C. The relative humidity of the air should not exceed 85%.
The WOODEX product can be diluted with water from 5 to a maximum of 10%. Larger dilution may affect the final colour, for which AKSIL is not responsible.
Before and during painting the product should be mixed thoroughly to ensure a homogeneous colour.
Water should be used to wash the painting tools.
