Application

AKSIKOR SURFACE WASHING AND DRYING PREPARATE removes soiling prior to the application of paint coatings on metal surfaces (steel, galvanised sheet metal, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, aluminium, coated sheet metal, previously painted sheet metal). It can also be used to clean plastics, rubber parts and to remove all kinds of dirt from other hard surfaces, e.g. floors, etc.

Properties

Productivity: Typically 0.5 l of concentrate is sufficient to degrease 20 ÷50m2 of surface (depending on the degree of soiling).

Expert advice

Preparation of the product:

AKSIKOR SURFACE WASHING AND DRYING PREPARATE is a concentrate which should be diluted depending on the chosen method of application:

  1. washing with a foaming device - dilute 1:1 with water and pour into the foaming device. Apply the foam to the substrate - leave for 5 minutes and then rinse with pressurised water.
  2. washing with a sprayer and cleaning brush - dilute at a ratio of 0.5 l of the preparation per 20 l of water (the best results are obtained using warm/hot water) and wash the substrate with a cleaning brush. Then rinse thoroughly with pressurised water.

Methods of application:

Methods of cleaning and degreasing:

  • manual (brush, brush, MOP or rag),
  • spraying (high-pressure washers, e.g. Karcher type),
  • submersible (baths with circulating baths, ultrasonic cleaners).

After washing, it is advantageous to rinse with clean water and dry.

In case of heavy soiling, the cleaning solution for immersion application should be changed frequently.

When degreasing the substrate with pressure washers, the operating instructions of these devices and the general safety regulations applicable to this type of work should be strictly observed.
