Surface preparation:
The substrate to be hydrophobised should be strong, free from dust, dirt, grease and paint coating. Surfaces should be washed with water and detergent e.g. KOLORBRUK PREPART WASHING AND DRYING preferably using a pressure washer. The surface should be dried.
Moulded, mossy and algae-infested areas should be mechanically cleaned and disinfected with agents intended for this purpose, e.g. Fungicide (by spraying the surface - in accordance with the provisions of the Fungicide's technical sheet).
Substrate must be dry before painting, with a maximum humidity of 4 -6 % and a temperature between +5°C and 30°C.
Painting:
Apply the impregnating agent generously by pouring, spraying or brushing until the surface is saturated. Most often this will be a single application. In the case of very porous surfaces, two u0022wet-on-wetu0022 coats can be applied at intervals of no more than 15 minutes.
Impregnate at a temperature of +50C to +300C and relative humidity of the air up to 80%.
Paint work should be carried out in suitable atmospheric conditions (no fog, rain or snow).
Use water to wash paint tools.
Productivity:
Productivity of up to 8 m2 from 1 litre with one application. Practical performance depends on many factors such as substrate type, texture, colour and the type of tool and application method used. Performance test should be carried out
