Properties

ColorBRUK clear impregnate for concrete:

  • hydrophobizes the concrete substrate, thereby increasing its frost resistance and lifespan;
  • eases the removal of oil stains and other contaminants, reduces efflorescence, and enhances the colour of the substrate;
  • creates a coating that is resistant to atmospheric agents and UV radiation;
  • protects concrete against carbonation processes.

Expert advice

Preparation is ready to use, no dilution required.

  • Mix thoroughly before use.
  • Apply to a dry, clean, surface that requires prior preparation.
  • Surface should be thoroughly washed with water before application, preferably by pressure washing, and a brush should be used for particularly dirty areas. In case of moss overgrowth, a preliminary sanitisation with an algae- and fungicide such as Fungicide should be applied.
  • Present efflorescence on the surface should be removed in advance with preparations intended for this purpose, e.g. KOLORBRUK efflorescence remover.
  • After completion of the work, soiled tools should be washed with nitrocellulose thinner or universal thinner. Number of layers to be applied: 1 ÷ 2. The second coat is applied wet-on-wet or after the first coat has dried.
