Preparing the substrate:
The substrate to be painted must be firmly bonded, clean, free from dust, grease and dry. A fresh substrate to be painted should be seasoned for the recommended period. Remove any organic contamination (lichen, mosses) mechanically and disinfect with a suitable preparation e.g. Fungicide. Wash dirty surfaces with water and detergent, e.g. COLORBRUK CLEANING PREPARATE.
For absorbent, loosely bound, loose and chalky substrates (leaving traces of dust when rubbed with the hand), impregnate with AKSILUX.
Preparation of the product:
Mix the paint thoroughly before use. Apply the paint with a brush, roller or by spraying. If necessary, for the first application the paint can be diluted with water in the ratio 3 parts paint : 1 part water. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats. Apply the next coat after the previous one has dried out.
NOTE: Pour paints from different production batches of the same colour into a larger container and mix thoroughly.
Painting
Painting work should be carried out in good weather conditions (no fog, rain, snow). Protect the newly applied paint coat from precipitation condensation until it is completely dry. Carry out painting work at a substrate and ambient temperature of +50C to +300C and an air humidity not exceeding 80 %. Wash tools with water.
Productivity:
Productivity up to 8m2 from 1 litre with one application. Practical performance depends on many factors such as substrate type, texture, colour and the type of tool and application method used.
