Preparing the substrate:
The concrete substrate should be seasoned for a minimum of 28 days and preferably for a period of three months. It must be dry, strong, free from dust and flaking layers of old paint and free from grease. It is advantageous to wash the surfaces with detergent, under pressure, rinse and dry. Roughen smooth surfaces.
Moulded, mossy and algae-infested areas should be mechanically cleaned and disinfected with Fungicide.
In the case of absorbent and chalky substrates (which leave dust marks when rubbed with the hand), impregnate with AKSILUX.
Substrate must be dry before painting, with a maximum humidity of 4 % and a temperature between +5°C and 30°C.
Painting:
Mix the paint before painting. For the first painting, dilute the paint with water in the ratio 3:1 (3 parts paint:1 part water), or, in the case of a very dense substrate, 2:1 (2 parts paint to 1 part water). Carry out a second coat with undiluted paint. Apply the paint with a brush, roller or spray equipment (airless or hydrodynamic and hydrodynamic with air shield).
Use water to wash the painting tools.
All painting work should be carried out at an ambient temperature of +50C to +300C, preferably at 20 ± 5°C.
Freshly applied coating should be protected from rain, strong sunlight and frost.
